The Virginia Leadership Board is a multi-dimensional volunteer team representing different professional backgrounds and geographic areas and has a passion to assist the VA FCA State Director in advancing the Gospel through sport.

By providing strategic vision, expanding relationships across Virginia, and sharing support the Board helps fulfill the FCA mission: to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

The VA FCA Board seeks to raise revenue to advance ministry in these areas:

Talent Advancement

  • Matching gifts to assist 18 new staff to onboard with funding.
  • Training resources (Rookie Starter Kits, laptops, case of bibles) to assist new staff.
  • Staff Care for 100+ VA Staff (Retreat and staff celebration gifts for work anniversies and birthdays).

Ministry Resources

  • Supply 500 coaches with bibles.
  • Provide camp scholarships to 150 athletes.
  • Underwrite costs for 20 couples to attend the Coaches Timeout Marriage Getaway.

International FCA

  • Provide 40 sports kits for coaches (soccer balls, cones, jerseys, bibles).
  • Digital divide needs (assist with new laptops, cell phones).
  • Offer Southeast Asia camp scholarships for 50 athletes (Indonesia, Malaysia).

You can support these initiatives by making a special gift or signing up for a monthly gift.
